About Me

Carylon Tyler, Architect
Carylon Tyler

As a licensed practicing architect  working in architectural environments since graduating from college, my goal has always been to gain knowledge and experience in the execution of quality architecture. As I continue to practice, I believe that the ability to share knowledge and experience is an important trait for us to possess as architects.

As a Project Architect/Manager, in the educational sector, I have collaborated with and assisted students, teachers and stakeholders in producing sustainable, healthy and viable architecture, to enhance each groups’ unique values and program requirements for their learning environments. I have collaborated with contractors, project team consultants and governing agencies.

Services

Offering Quality Assurance Review of Construction Documents. The focus of the review is aimed at the drawings clarity and cohesiveness - do the project team consultants drawings concur with the architectural drawings and each other. Additionally, the review process will shed light on how well the drawings reflect the intended picture of the project.

The extent of the review depends on the budget for review, time available for review, project phase and agreed scope of the review.

If the project is to be submitted to the Division of the State Architect (DSA), the drawings will be checked for compliance to DSA Part 3. Construction Documents Submittal Checklist.

The review excludes code analysis/compliance and review of details for buildability.
